1. All lecture rooms in the Conference Center are equipped with facilities for Power Point presentation and overhead projectors.

Information useful for arranging travel and participation in the XI IOSTE Symposium.

We would like to inform that the program - final version is available on the Symposium website. 

There will be our representatives at the airport arriving hall on 24 (Saturday)  and 25 July (Sunday)  who will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information concerning further journey to Lublin. Generally, there are three options:

  1.  We will hire special buses on Saturday and Sunday for the participants of the Symposium depending on how many of you will be arriving at the same time. The people interested in it are requested  to send the exact dates and hours as well as the numbers of your flights to and from Warsaw to the address ( as soon as possible.
  2. You may take a direct Polski Express bus (timetable) from the airport.
  3. You may also take a train (PKP) from Warsaw Central station. The timetable is available on the website

The Symposium Office is open on Sunday, 25 July from 10 a.m. It is situated in the Conference Center (Centrum Konferencyjne AR ul. Akademicka 15) which is marked on the map.

On 25 July during time 15.00 – 18.00 there is organized a walking tour with a guide round Lublin. The meeting place is the hall of the Conference Center.

There are organized the trips by coach for accompanying persons:

NałęczówKazimierz on 26 July (Monday) 11.00.- 17.00

Zamość – Zwierzyniec on 27 July (Tuesday) 9.00 – 18.00

Kozłówka on 29 July (Thursday) 9.00 – 13.00

On Monday evening there is organized a special event in the Village Museum. Therefore you are kindly requested to take your national costume to wear them during this event.

The payment for accommodation in the Students' Hostel and for the meals as well as the official dinner can be made in zlotys (Polish currency) or by credit card in the Symposium Office during registration.  



Information about the plenary programme


The participants of the Symposium who would like to publish the complete text of their presentation in the author’s version (not reviewed)  in the form of CD-rom, should send them to the address  till 1 July 2004. The full text  should be typed, in the same way as the proposal (see appropriate information on web-side), as a Microsoft Word document using 12-point Times New Roman, single-spaced, without page numbers. Maximum number of pages should not exceed: 5 for poster, 10 for oral presentation and  20 for plenary lecture. The possibility of publishing the reviewed version papers selected by the Scientific Committee after Symposium in the book form is also considered.


Due to the fact that we have not obtained all the reviews of the proposals the information of the acceptance of proposals will be sent by the end of April, 2004
Accordingly, the deadline of early registration fee is prolonged until May 15, 2004
